Effective communication begins with this...

This weekend in the Foundation workshop we spent some time diving into words & language. Getting clear on the true energetic meanings of words starts to illuminate why we are creating what is showing up that might not match what we thought we were asking for!

For example, the word want means to lack... not to desire as we have been accustomed to using it.

When you're saying I want more money, or I want a relationship, or I want xyz, the universe hears, I lack xyz and therefore you are correct. You lack it... which doesn't bring it into existence.

What questions can you ask to actualize what you want (lack)?!

- What would it take for xyz to show up?

- Whatever it takes, I'm having xyz!

- What can I be for xyz to show up with ease?

There are so many ways to articulate your desires in ways that will allow them to show up in your life. So before you go asking for what you WANT, maybe try playing with "I don't want" or changing the words all together!

Another word that was fun to learn about was Nice! Check it out in the video below!

Hope this contributes to you and having more ease creating your sparkly living!

Hope to see you on a Zoom or in person soon!

Magic sparkles,

Julie

This post genuinely stopped me in my tracks, Julie! The revelation about "want" meaning lack is something I wish I'd known years ago — I've been unconsciously pushing things away while thinking I was calling them in. It connects so deeply to the work we do in legal writing too; at the New Assignment Help UK Law Team, we often remind students that the words chosen in legal arguments carry tremendous energetic and logical weight — a poorly framed argument signals doubt before it even begins. Shifting from "I want to win this case" to "What would it take for this argument to land with clarity and power?" changes everything. Language truly is the architecture of our reality. Thank you…

This really shifted something for me, Julie! The idea that "want" energetically signals lack is such a game-changer — I've been unknowingly reinforcing what I don't have just through my word choices. It reminded me of when I was studying business and working through a Business Assignment Help UK service to better articulate complex ideas; even then, the words I chose in my writing made a huge difference in the clarity and energy behind my arguments. Swapping out limiting language for open-ended questions like "What would it take for this to show up?" feels so much more expansive and inviting. Thank you for this beautiful reminder that the words we use are truly the foundation of everything we create!
