Effective communication begins with this...

This weekend in the Foundation workshop we spent some time diving into words & language. Getting clear on the true energetic meanings of words starts to illuminate why we are creating what is showing up that might not match what we thought we were asking for!
For example, the word want means to lack... not to desire as we have been accustomed to using it.
When you're saying I want more money, or I want a relationship, or I want xyz, the universe hears, I lack xyz and therefore you are correct. You lack it... which doesn't bring it into existence.
What questions can you ask to actualize what you want (lack)?!
- What would it take for xyz to show up?
- Whatever it takes, I'm having xyz!
- What can I be for xyz to show up with ease?
There are so many ways to articulate your desires in ways that will allow them to show up in your life. So before you go asking for what you WANT, maybe try playing with "I don't want" or changing the words all together!
Another word that was fun to learn about was Nice! Check it out in the video below!
Hope this contributes to you and having more ease creating your sparkly living!
Hope to see you on a Zoom or in person soon!
Magic sparkles,
Julie

I read the post about how clear communication starts with listening and it made me think about times I messed up a group project because I rushed my part without checking in. Back when I was weak in math I used get an A in MyMathLab at that time to get extra practice and it helped me feel calmer during tests. It made me realize that good support and patience really strengthen how we connect with others.
I really liked your focus on how strong communication starts with listening and clarity, because that foundation makes all interactions more honest and effective. When I was buried in essays and deadlines last term, I honestly had to do my Philosophy class late at night just to free up my mornings for real conversations and teamwork, so your message about intention in communication really hit home for me. It reminded me that good communication isn’t just about what we say but how we connect and understand each other.
I enjoyed your post on why effective communication matters because your examples on listening and clear words really hit home with me as someone who struggles to explain big ideas under pressure. When I was swamped with work last term I even found myself thinking do my online MBA exam just to catch a breath and get my thoughts straight. Your tips made me see that good communication can calm stress and strengthen relationships in all parts of life. Your story reminded me that listening to others and using simple clear language really changes how people respond to us.
I enjoyed your post on why effective communication begins with choosing your words and how language shapes what shows up for you in life, it made me think about how I talk to others. When I was overwhelmed with coursework last year I even needed do my assignment help from a friend so I could explain my ideas more clearly in emails and group chats. Your story reminded me that listening to others and using simple clear language really changes how people respond to us.
